Chelsea (she/they) is a freelance dance artist based in Brooklyn, New York with roots in Minnesota and Mongolia. With over 10 years of experience in the field of modern, contemporary, and experimental dance, she has enjoyed performing in museum installations, music videos, fashion shows, outdoors, dance films, and onstage. They have worked with awarded choreographers including Monica Bill Barnes, Donna Uchizono, Sameena Mitta, and Megan Williams. Chelsea's own work was shown at Fort Greene Park in 2020, and Arts on Site in 2021 and 2025. She has guest taught at Peridance in Manhattan, and Midday Movement in Boston. They are interested in how improvising and performance can reach a deep level of listening, connection, and transformation.
